Steeping instructions: 

How to Prepare the Perfect Matcha

Traditional Matcha (Usucha – Thin Style)

  • Sift 1–2 teaspoons (1–2g) of matcha into a bowl to remove clumps.
  • Add Water – Pour 60–80ml of hot water (75–80°C). Avoid boiling water to preserve nutrients.
  • Whisk – Use a bamboo whisk (chasen) in a “W” or “M” motion until frothy.
  • Enjoy – Sip and savor the smooth, umami-rich flavour.

Matcha Latte

  • Sift & Whisk – Follow steps 1–3 above using a small amount of water.
  • Add Milk – Warm 200ml of your preferred milk (oat, almond, soy, or dairy) and pour over the whisked matcha.
  • Sweeten (Optional) – Add honey, maple syrup, or your preferred sweetener.
  • Stir & Enjoy – A creamy, energizing matcha latte!

Cold Brew Matcha (Iced Matcha)

  • Add Matcha – Place 1 teaspoon of matcha in a bottle or shaker.
  • Add Cold Water – Pour in 250–300ml of cold water.
  • Shake Vigorously – Shake for 30 seconds until fully blended.
  • Serve Over Ice – A refreshing and revitalizing drink!
